Israeli Student Films in Competition – Program 2

A man searches for a forgotten word deep within his memory, wandering through strange corners of the mind. A young fox embarks on an emotional journey through a scorched forest. Cheerful cacti awaken at night

for a mysterious ritual. And the miracle of creation springs to life in a vibrant dance of color, movement, and hope.
This program offers imaginative, heartfelt, and visually stunning works—windows into inner worlds that speak of vulnerability, but also of search, connection, and new beginnings.

It’s a concentrated glimpse into the future of Israeli animation. These films were made within Israel’s top academic institutions, yet break free of any mold. Out of limitations of time, budget, and experience emerge daring, poetic, and creatively free works—by emerging filmmakers already showing remarkable maturity, style, and voice, giving us every reason to be excited for what lies ahead.

*Recommended for ages 12 and up. Some themes or styles may be complex for younger viewers, but the content is safe and free of sensitive or violent material.
