We are excited to announce the opening of submissions for the International Animation Competition, featuring all the familiar categories: Feature Films, Shorts, Student Films, and Documentaries, Young Audience, Music Videos along with an exciting new addition: Experimental Animation.

Over the years, we’ve had the honor of hosting creators from across the globe—Dubai, Morocco, Japan, and many more—and showcasing films from Ukraine, Russia, the United States, and Iran. This diversity proves that art transcends borders. As artists and creators, we are not defined by our governments. We believe in the power of art to challenge systems, question norms, and tell stories that bring us closer together.

At Animix, we navigate a complex reality, one that we cannot always embrace. Yet, we aspire to unite people—not through politics, but through the universal language of animation and art. Together, we are reminded of our shared humanity, even in the darkest times.
