The war between Russia and the Ukraine has resulted in a wave of immigrants and refugees to Israel from Russia and Belarus. The animation filmmakers from these countries, who have been living under a dictatorship for years, have found themselves on the other side of the fence. Some of them immigrated earlier due to political reasons, and some were forced to flee in a hurry while the anti-war protests raged on. The collection showcases the war, and immigration and exposes us to the beautiful animation that developed alongside the Russian creative tradition.

אנימציה תעודית, המבוססת על יומנה של טטיאנה ונוקביץ’-בגדסאריאן, שהתגוררה בפנימייה פסיכו-נוירולוגית עד גיל 35. קומות סגורות, שעת שקט בגיל 25, השכמה וניתוק בלוחות הזמנים, לרוב היעדר מוחלט של חפצים אישיים ומרחב אישי. בכלל, עולם הפנימיות מזכיר תערובת של בית סוהר ובית חולים, אלא, שהאנשים שגרים בהם לא עברו פשעים ולא מגיעים לשם באופן זמני, אלא לרוב מבלים שם את כל חייהם.
BIOGRAPHY Born in 1983 in Moscow, studied at the animation lyceum. She began filming her debut “Behind the Fence” at the Rudnik festival, in the workshop of Dina Goder and Sandrik Rodionov. Organized an animation workshop for the Bulb and Escalator project (a creative project for people with experience of living in PNI). In 2021, she invented wire graffiti, traveled to festivals a lot and was very happy. On February 24 2022 she was detained at an anti-war rally in Moscow.

Graduated from Art College in Rostov-on-Don (designer) in 1988 and art graphic faculty of the Russian ‐State University of Cinematography named after S. Gerasimov (VGIK) in 1995.
Since 2015 she lives in Haifa, Israel.
