A special festival program dedicated to the broad work of author, playwriter, songwriter and satirist, Yehonatan Geffen, who passed away this year. From his mythological work, “The Sixteenth Sheep”, to hundreds of songs, stories and columns written by Geffen – all of which are intertwined with drawings and animations created especially to accompany his marvelous words. Geffen’s close friend, the curator and artists, Eldad Ziv, will talk about Geffen’s less familiar sides, the animator, Sharon Gazit, the “Elephant Animation” man, will share how the characters behind “The Sixteenth Sheep” came to be, and the cat cartoonist, Ilana Zafran will discuss the animation work for the book “Elimeow”.
