Narrated by Paul Giamatti and written by Dan O’Shannon, “The Fan and the Flower” tells the story of an unlikely romance. 

Released in 1987, “Your Face” shows a man singing about his lover's face and as he sings, his face starts to distort in various ways. The original song was composed and sung by Maureen McElheron, who later co-wrote the music for Plympton’s feature "The Tune" and several other films. It went on to receive an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Short Film at the 60th Academy Awards in April 1988.

"25 Ways to Quit Smoking" aired on MTV's "Liquid Television" and also won the Prix du Public at the Annecy Film Festival and second prize at the Los Angeles Animation Celebration. Based on an unmade book proposal, Plympton decided it would work better as an animated short. Plympton’s mother, who smoked for 40 years, quit after seeing this film.

An adaptation of Walt Curtis’s poem about a cowboy town that torments the local drunk.
